DESCRIPTION
Located in the coastal San Diego neighborhood of Del Mar, this bright, modern, comfortable home brings together the essence of Southern California living, featuring La Cantina doors, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor spaces. A backyard retreat awaits, listen to the calming waterfall spilling into the custom swimming pool, all the distractions of the outside world fade away.
Conveniently located and accessible, once you enter the gate, Del Mar Haven has a private and secluded feel, surrounded by well-established landscaping. As you enter, the home opens to bright rooms and high ceilings, with one step down into the living area, you will find a comfortable cozy chaise sofa, along with a flat-screen TV, crackling fireplace and direct access to the outdoor living area. Updated modern furniture and décor make for an inviting gathering spot for your family and friends.
The kitchen shares the open floorplan with the living area and has been updated with white quartz countertops and backsplashes, new cabinetry and a stainless-steel appliance package. The Dining Nook features built-in seating for up to 8 along with an adjacent breakfast bar for 4.
There are 4 bedrooms in total that are tastefully furnished with comfy bedding and white hotel-style duvets, where a good night’s rest is guaranteed! The master suite features a balcony overlooking the backyard and pool, with bistro seating to enjoy the peek ocean view, a king bed, flat-screen TV, and an en-suite bathroom with a tiled walk-in shower and oversize soaking tub. Bedroom 2 has a work-ready desk, a queen bed, and a flat-screen TV. Just down the hall is a bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Bedroom 3 has a queen bed and fold-down couch for additional sleeping, along with a TV. Bedroom 4, located on the main floor has a king bed, built-in vanity and a flat-screen TV. A hall bathroom with a glass-enclosed shower is located just outside the guest room.
The outdoor space has been transformed into a truly resort-style experience! After a day at the beach, rinse off the sand in the heated outdoor shower, walk across the butter-soft Ipe wood deck, perfect for bare feet, and take a dip in the crystal-clear pool, or soak the therapeutic spa. Then indulge in an evening curled up on the outdoor sofa in the glow of the built-in firepit. A perfect spot to enjoy company and conversation with friends and family as you watch the sun set.
Del Mar Haven is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, a mile to the nearest sandy beach. With casual dining and groceries within walking distance, it’s also just a short drive to upscale restaurants and shopping at One Paseo. This home is perfectly situated only 5 minutes to the heart of the village of Del Mar by car.

Nice Home -- Very Clean
by Emma & Grant BakerWe were in town for a wedding. We were looking forward to getting away and relaxing in a quiet setting. The backyard was very nice as was the house. The house was very clean, lots of towels, comfortable beds and it had everything that you would need. The garage was big, proximity to stores/restaurants in the local shopping center was good. The location was great -- our only complaint is that the road noise was definitely a surprise to us. We saw that it was close to the road in the pictures but during rush hour(s) it is very loud. The evenings were not as bad. I had requested a form of a refund and was denied as they said that it was noted in the description of the house (which it is). The team did not get back to me for hours when I shared my concern. I finally after calling several times spoke with Meagan --I believe was her name and she noted my concern and was very nice but did not offer any resolution. Also, make sure that you have the correct tv code ahead of time if regular TV is important to you. Overall a very nice house.
