Gated and private, this home was newly re-built in 2017 with full attention to detail. Fully furnished and accessorized, everything has its place and you will find thoughtful touches throughout including wires and outlets hidden from sight.

Single-level living is a breeze with no stairs to navigate and the home flows from one area to the next. Clean, white walls and surfaces, smooth finishes, a chef’s kitchen, and a lounge living room, combine to create a space that feels like a luxurious contemporary hotel that is warm and inviting at the same time. The home comes with 3 bedrooms and features 2 king bed master suites, with a spa-like soaking tub as a centerpiece. The oceanfront master is an amazing space with a fireplace, flat-screen TV and convenience fridge with floor to ceiling sliding glass doors that open to the sea.

San Diego is known for its incredible weather, and Sea Glass is designed to take every advantage. The interior courtyard has space for an outdoor dining area with leading to the entry breezeway complete with an over-sized flat-screen TV over an elongated glass-filled fireplace. Enter the home through a large single-pivot glass door, pass through the open floorplan and glass La Cantina doors to the highlight of the home, a property-wide waterfront terrace, complete with lounge seating, two fire pits and a hot tub. From here, you’ll enjoy the sights of the blue ocean, whitewater waves, and golden sunsets with the calming sounds of the surf breaking on the reefs beyond.

While located in a quiet residential neighborhood, it’s just a short walk to the shops, restaurants, wine bars, shops and coffee houses in the Bird Rock neighborhood. It’s just a few minutes drive to the Village of La Jolla and many of the wide sandy beaches San Diego is famous for.

Beautiful!

What a beautiful place. We couldn\'t get enough of the back porch. View was great, weather so nice. Our kids also loved watching all the surfers! La Jolla is such a nice spot too and this place is just down the road. We would surely stay again.

Great location and you can’t beat the view.

House includes very “high end” amenities and we all had a very luxurious week. There are a number of restaurants within walking distance so we had options and there are stores fairly close if you prefer to cook. Garage feels like one car size even though you could fit two in and crawl out the window. There does seem to be plenty of street parking available however.

Well stocked kitchen, view could not be more beautiful and soo peaceful. We did have some maintenance issues but staff took care of every issue as fast as they could. I did ask for a bit of a refund as lots of the issues were in my main bedroom…and i didn’t have access to the room a couple times because they were doing repairs. They cheerfully gave me my refund.

From the moment you walk through the impressive front gate you are transported into the most beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean and Birdrock , the house is spectacular modern with everything you could want. I took me very special person for a three day getaway, I never wanted to leave.

Fabulous La Jolla/Bird Rock property and vacation experience

Booking on VRBO was very easy, smooth and seamless. Blue Water Management was incredibly professional, responsive and made our stay in La Jolla that much more terrific. Both Christine and Shannon from Blue Water were fantastic. The Blue Water tech support was also extremely helpful and accommodating in resolving an alarm system issue. The property and home were extremely clean, properly maintained, very well stocked, easy to use and enjoy. The location is safe and outstanding and with a priceless connections to the Pacific, Bird Rock, La Jolla and San Diego. Thank you to the owners of the wonderful house, and to Christine and Shanon from Blue Water Management for making our stay outstanding. Looking forward to our return trips. Way to go!
