Casa del Sol is one of 4 historic Beach Cottages built in the 1930s and lined up along a stairway leading from Prospect Street to La Jolla Cove known as Ocean Lane. As La Jolla grew and developed around them, the cottages have retained the original charm and appeal that have hosted countless visitors over decades of fun and relaxation.

Casa del Sol has been nicely updated to feature all the modern–day comforts of home. Comfy furnishings, two flat-screen cable TVs, a dedicated dining area, a fully–equipped kitchen, and a gas fireplace,

Perfection

Even better than the pics! Views of the water!! So close to the beach. The only thing I would add is that if you have any luggage at all you will want to arrive at prospect street to avoid the stairs. Will definitely come back!!

The house is quite small and the second sleeping spot is also the couch, which may be a little small for an adult couple to sleep on. Overall the house is in a great location to the beach, restaurants and coffee shops and the Bluewater staff were great hosts!
